Qontinent
The Qontinent was a Belgian weekend festival organised by Q-dance and Bass Events, bringing together the full spectrum of harder styles at Puyenbroeck in Wachtebeke, near Ghent. First held in 2008, the festival grew into a major summer gathering featuring Hardstyle, Hardcore, Hard Techno, Oldschool, Freestyle and other hard dance genres across multiple stages. With a dedicated camping area, The Qontinent offered a complete weekend experience, allowing visitors to arrive on Friday, camp alongside fellow ravers and continue the celebration throughout the weekend. Its combination of a diverse line-up, multiple stages and a strong festival atmosphere made The Qontinent a distinctive part of the Belgian and international hard dance scene. After more than a decade of editions, The Qontinent returned for its final edition in August 2024, bringing the festival's history at Puyenbroeck to a close.
